About Me

I received my M.E. degree from the Communication University of China in 2010, and my Dr.Eng. degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology (now Institute of Science Tokyo, Science Tokyo) in 2017. From 2014 to 2015, I was a visiting student at Osaka University. After completing my doctorate, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher from 2017 to 2022 in Dept. Electr. Electron. Eng. at Tokyo Tech. Since 2022, I have been a specially appointed associate professor at the Tokyo Tech Academy for Super Smart Society (now Academy of Super Smart Society, Science Tokyo). My research interests include smart mobility, autonomous driving, digital twin, V2X, UAV communication, mmWave, sensor networks, localization, antenna design, and building energy management. I am a member of IEEE and IEICE.

Recent Research

Digital Twins

dt

DT enables precise replication of physical systems in cyberspace, with optimization results fed back to physical space. Our work includes theoretical research, practical implementation, and applications powered by DTs, particularly in the field of smart mobility.

Autonomous Driving / Smart Mobility

ad

We focus on leveraging wireless communication (V2X), DT, AI, and roadside infrastructure to enhance the safety and efficiency of autonomous driving and the broader transportation system. Our work spans both theoretical research and extensive practical proof-of-concept (PoC).

Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications (V2X)

We developed a heterogeneous software-defined V2X network (SDVN) to orchestrate access technologies (e.g., mmWave, DSRC), and information flow (e.g., route control). We also work on V2X-endabled applications, e.g., cooperative perception.

UAV Communications

We work on various UAV communication systems, including mmWave-based raw 4K video transmission system, and spectrum-efficient multi-UAV full-duplex system. Our efforts extend beyond theoretical research to functional prototypes and PoC experiment.

Battery-less Sensor Networks

We have designed and developed a wireless energy transmission system, seamlessly integrating it into indoor ceiling lights. Building on this, we have also created a battery-less wireless sensor network and a lighting control system powered by it.
